The Color Violet: Let not your mellow be harshed. WOODSTOCK EDITION

Namaste

"Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord"  — Hebrews 12:14

Rudolf Steiner:  "The ancients gave the name 'tincture' to what was revealed when the clairvoyant felt the whole world bathed in a violet light and himself living in a violet cloud in this light, and felt at one with himself. Clairvoyants felt this tincture as their own, as connected to their organism. They felt it as their very own astrum.... they strove not to take in anything from the outside and to live only in themselves. They became unreceptive in order not to have to let in anything from the outside."

I received my draft notice the Saturday of Woodstock.

"The growth of wisdom may be gauged exactly by the diminution of ill temper."  — Nietzsche

Rudolf Steiner:  "But this very pain, this tragedy, contains the most precious seeds of the new, constructive life that has to be built up in the midst of our decaying culture. For the truth is that everything in life that flowers and bears fruit is an outgrowth of pain and suffering."

"They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him." — Psalm 124:5-6

But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold. — Job 23:10

"The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance."  — Galatians 5:22-23
