Anthroposophy: what the world needs now

Rudolf Steiner, February 15, 1920:

"Salvation will not come until the science practiced at our universities is completely filled with and integrated into the kind of thinking and perceptions that we have learned in recent days. Our universities will lead humanity to its downfall unless they are fructified in all aspects of their work by that cosmic knowledge that nowadays can only be won through the pursuit of spiritual science."

"First and foremost, we must come to grips with the fact that we are facing a time in which everything operating in human sense activity, intelligence, and memory must welcome spiritual revelation into its inner being in order for human culture to make any progress forward."

"To pursue spiritual science today means to seek a process for healing our sickened society. This must be felt by a sufficiently large portion of the population on Earth, and it must be felt deeply and fundamentally. Without spiritual science, this kind of feeling will not fill us. And nowadays, all of the major actions in the world are carried out without any feeling for what is actually being done."
