Everything we do must be done as an act of worship, as the completion of an urgent task

 

Rudolf Steiner, February 13, 1920: "Insofar as we are educating in our [Waldorf] classes, we are leading the activity of the beings of these higher hierarchies into the being of the developing child. People shoud not simply learn to kneel at the altar and pray for their own egotism; they should learn to make all that they do in the world into acts of worship. Nowadays, what people need to learn is that everything that a human being does in the world must be done as an act of worship, as the completion of an urgent task."
