Rudolf Steiner: "Any society must necessarily collapse when people work only for themselves—that is, in other words, when the social order is structured in an egoistic manner.... All work in society must be such that the fruits of labor accrue to society, and the means of subsistence are created not as the fruits of labor, but through the social structure."
