Rudolf Steiner: "If we wish to find God, but wish this only in order to keep him in our own soul, this shows that our egoism has in an unhealthy way crept into our highest endeavors. Then this egoism will have its revenge on us. We shall be healed only if, after having found God within us, we pour what we now have in us unselfishly into the world, through our thoughts, our feelings, and our will and actions."
