Rudolf Steiner: "Just as a reasonable person who recognizes the soul of the human being does not negate the body — its outer form, its physiognomy — the reasonable anthroposophist does not negate outer science. On the contrary, we want to stand fully within it. We only want, for the further development of humanity, science itself to have a soul just as the total human being carries the soul within the physical body. Yes, we claim that it needs soul. Thus anthroposophy does not want to be an opponent of the present scientific spirit but wants to become the soul of this scientific enterprise in the future."
