MORNING
Picture a white cross
with the words
In the godhood of the world
Add to this, over the crossbeam, three red roses
with the words
I will find myself
Then add four red roses under the crossbeam
with the words
I rest therein
Then add a green background
with the words
the godliness of the soul shines out
in pure love for every being
then add a purple framing,
its outer edge fading into indistinctness,
with the words
the godhood of the world gleams out
in the pure rays of the light.
(With the words "godliness" and "godhood" we picture the inner and outer CHR power.)
Then, maintaining inner tranquility, remain in expectancy without external impressions and memories. The revelations which the soul is to receive will arise when the time is ripe.
EVENING
Picture the setting sun in white light,
as though the power of the CHR rays out of this light
accompanied by the words
In the pure rays of the light
gleams out the godhood of the world
Then let the image of the sun grow yellow-red,
as if the love of the CHR is gleaming out in the redness,
with the words
In pure love for every being
shines out the godliness of the soul
Then transform the image of the sun into green,
allowing four red roses to appear upon its lower half,
with the words
I rest in the godhood of the world
Then three red roses in its upper half,
with the words
I will find myself
Then a black cross on the green background
with the words
In the godhood of the world
Then fall asleep in the mood engendered by these phrases.
