Philosophy is passé : what the world needs now is anthroposophy

 


Rudolf Steiner:  "Everything we have in the way of philosophy today is but a heritage of ancient doctrines squeezed out and sucked dry of all life, leaving only the skeleton of the concepts. Yet the philosophers take that skeleton for a living reality, for something created by human thinking. There is, as a matter of fact, no such thing as a philosopher who can think creatively without having recourse to the higher worlds. Just such a skeleton of concepts was all that the philosophers of the nineteenth century had to work with..."
