Rudolf Steiner, speaking in 1906: "Popular science, busy as it is, has an extremely harmful effect because it is presented with an air of authoritative infallibility that can only be shown in its true light at some future date. People today have no idea how much they are subject to suggestion presented with an authoritative air."
