The moment of death

Rudolf Steiner:  "From this side of life, death appears as a kind of dissolution, as something it is easy to be afraid of. From the other side of life, death appears as the most brilliant beginning of the spiritual experience, as something that radiates outward like a beam of sunlight over the whole ensuing life between death and a new birth, something that warms the soul through and through with joy during that life between death and a new birth, something that is looked back on again and again with the greatest fondness. That is the moment of death. If we want to describe it with earthly expressions, we could say that the most joyous and delightful thing in the life between death and a new birth is the moment of death as seen from the other side of life."
