O Great Encompassing Spirit

A Butterfly Egg

Great encompassing Spirit,
     I raise my "I" up from below,
     may it be capable of intuiting you encompassing all.
May my being's spirit be illuminated
     with your messengers' light,
May my being's soul be kindled
     by the fiery flames of your servants,
May the will of my "I" grasp
     the force of your Creator Word.
You are.
     May your light stream into my spirit,
     may your life warm my soul,
     may your being penetrate my will,
     so that understanding may seize my "I"
     for the burning of your light,
     for the warmth of your life,
     for the Creator-Word of your being.
You are.
